Everyone who has an acoustic piano will, at some time, need it tuned. You may not realize it, but a piano begins to go out of tune the moment the piano tuner leaves your house! That's why it is so important to have it tuned regularly. I recommend a twice per year tuning if the piano is in good shape.

I use a Peterson Strobe Tuner and learned this trade at THE AMERICAN SCHOOL OF PIANO TUNING. Consoles, Spinets and Grands can be tuned in about 2 hours, depending on the condition of the piano.
